Interior is in near mint condition. Rare weekender interior. The seats are comfortable and have no rips, stains or damage. The carpet is in good condition. All curtains are in excellent condition. The interior cabinets are in like new condition. There are four seat belts in back including the jump seat. The paint and body are in excellent condition, say for a couple dings and scratches. Bumpers in excellent condition. All door and body seals are in good condition no leaks. Very dry van no cancer. New front windshield and seal. New pinstripe installed in the original Westfalia design.
Brand new upper ball joints. New Alignment. Pop Top canvas is in excellent condition. The fiber glass top is in excellent original condition. The A/C was dye tested for leaks and recharged at 90k miles. Has cruise control, but it currently does not work. Heavy duty rear trailer hook up. New battery.

| “Low mile van145k miles. One key fits all locks including the gas cap. Factory A/C, Manual Transmission, The van bought new in Southern California, then made its way to the Pacific Northwest in. 1999. It was then purchased in 1999 by the second owner. Van was then stored for ten years. Absolutely rust free, no seam rust. The original paint is in excellent condition. The interior looks almost new. Taken to one of the best shops in the northwest that specialize in Vanagons last December. All recommended repairs were done at a cost of over $1100.00. The van Needed minor repairs do to its long storage. Motor and Transmission Rebuilt top end at 97k miles. The water pump replaced at that time. Fresh complete tune up including but not limited to fuel filter, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, air filter, oil change, transmission service, new muffler, idle control module and O2 sensor. Motor runs great, transmission is crisp and precise. Steering tight, front breaks good, rear breaks new.” |
