Description:

You are bidding on a friend's extremely rare 1973 Volkswagen full panel bus, factory built in Gremany, with a rear decklid with no rear window. Vehicle was built by Volkswagen utility truck for a German volunteer fire department, and was equiped to tow pumping equipment. It was never available for purchase in the US, but was bought in Canada by the owner in the US. Metal dash board is not standard for this year , and steel dash was only available in Germany for this year. Vehicle is equiped with a 1600cc motor that has replaced cylinders, crank bearings, new cam and cam bearings, new oil pump, new Kadron dual carbs, header exhaust, new generator, and a new starter. Has new front brakes and pads. Front seats have been recovered, has had new door seal installed on the passenger side front door, new seal for the drivers door in is the bus. There is also a box of parts that are included with sale. Bus is currently registered in the state of New Hampshire and is sold with a clear title from that state. This is an extremely rare vehicle, and is an incredible opportunity to own for a true Volkswagen collector.
