This double cab has spent its whole life in California and comes with it's original dealer book and owners name. The car has been rust free it's entire life and has never been in an accident. This car was professionally built from the ground up by Randy's Foreign Car in San Diego, California. The outside gives the appearance of a stock cruiser with a very original look. Under the hood tells a different story. With its' double oil coolers, spin on filter, and electric fan mounted between the frame rails, this car can cruise all day long in desert heat and it will always stay cool.
The drive train is where the best improvements have been made. A 2276 cc type 1 vw air cooled motor with dual 40 IDF Webbers was built using the best components. It is mated to a fully rebuilt and re geared 4 speed trans. The brake system is later model VW front disk and rear drum, and it stops on a dime ! The front end has been completely rebuilt, Front and rear heavy duty sway bars, extra heavy duty rear custom engine mount, dual fuel filters, hidden battery for security, basically nearly every part on this car has either been replaced or improved.
