This 1973 vw bus has factory colors on it! The original Ravenna Green/Apple Green two tone with a blue and yellow stripe around the belt line. There has been new chalk paint added to the sliding door for young ones to chalk pictures on, or to write fun things accross during holidays! :) This bus still has its original plates from Germany, and rocks some pretty cool German stickers. The motor was replaced in 1996 by the previous owner with a new MTK engine. This bus runs beautifully and can go quite a long ways. The interior is quite nice with some bangs here and there. The front of the bus has two black seats with a new stereo system and speakers. The windshield is beautiful, and has a great dashboard. There is a space between the passenger and drivers seat to get to the back of the bus where you will find a full bed pulled out, or if you want it folded up, you might see a long seat with seat belts capable of seating 3 people. The bed is really quite comfortable for 2 people, 3 people crammed. The floor is original plastic tiling, and all other appliances have been removed for room for extra seating. This bus is different because it is a permanent high top. At all times, people 6 feet or smaller can walk around the bus without worrying about hitting your head. It is very nice to feel free in the van all the time, but limits some parking places. 4 tires that are in great condition. All lights work and blinkers and emergency flashers work as well. Good gas mileage with good speed. 4 gear speed and reverse works perfectly. This has been the love of my life for years, but because I have been moving so much recently, and plan not to slow down for a while, I need to find a happy place for her to drive around. Also, this bus is located in Bend, Oregon and must be picked up by the new owner once purchased! I may not be in town, so I may have my friend help give you the details when picking it up.

| “This bus has been around for a long time, and seen many fun days with lots of scars to prove it. There is a very small dent on the front right part of the bus with some small rust spots along the bottom. The turn signals work, but need to be manually set back to off once turned. The horn on top does not work, but I have put in a new horn below the steering well that works perfectly. Both driver seat and passenger seat have a small hole in the material. The handle for the drivers seat roll up window is broken, but is still function-able to roll the window up and down. The original sink, stove and refrigerator has been removed in order for me to put extra seating in. The hook ups are still intact though. The back latch door does not open. There is a slight oil leak, so staying up with oil filling is a must. Check break fluid every once in a while. Very easy to refill but gets low pretty quickly. No heater or AC. The mile gauge was broken before I bought the bus, so no telling the miles.” |
