Up for sale please find the SPIRIT of '76, a beloved WESTFALIA DELUXE TYPE II Camper Van. The DELUXE refers to this specific floor plan, which includes Sink, Stove, and Fridge (not Ice Box!). Sleeps 4 adults in the Loft Pop Up Camper and Z-Bed fold out below. You can also purchase a hammock to sleep kids in the drivers area, though we don't have it. The Avocado green paint is 4 years old, and the 2.0 Pancake motor is 3 years old. Interior is woven heavy duty material, and is in great shape. Has CD Player, USB, and iPhone connection, with speakers in front door, and the rear. Sounds Great. Comes with Optional Fiberglass Luggage Rack on roof above cab, and also has aftermarket surf racks. Recent tune-up, oil change, and axle service, new tail lights and housings, and new Radial T/A tires all around mean this beauty is ready to go ANYWHERE. Has one small scuff-dent in slider door, but otherwise very straight and presentable. Comes with spare parts, including door mechanism, instrument cluster, and spare flap window. This Westie is unrestored, and not perfect, with a couple small rust spots in normal places (2nd Battery Tray, door step), but looks and runs GREAT, and is ready to adventure with the next owner.
If you have never had a Westie, it is the most marvelous way to travel there is: Economical, Verstatile, and FUN!! Climbing into the loft after a long day of sightseeing, surfing, and grilling at the camp sight is PARADISE. Great for a single person, a couple or smallish family, too!
