Description:

1972 VW Campmobile/Camper with pop top. This vehicle is low mileage with a majorly reconditioned engine new piston cylinders, rings, and pins. New camshaft, lifters, and Mellings oil pump. The crankshaft has been turned .010 with new bearings, connecting rods re sized, and new rod bolts. Heads have been reworked with new exhaust valves and guides. New .009 Bosch distributor and 2 barrel Weber carburetor.
Additional parts include another 1700 which does have one crack (pictured in the floor of the van). Also has short lock exhaust manifolds and cooling system parts.
In last 6 years brake calipers, master cylinders, and wheel cylinders have been replaced.
This vehicle has been lightly driven for the last 20 years. I don't want to part with it but recent unexpected life events has caused this hard decision.
