1972 Volkswagen/VW Westfalia camper patina bus.
Rebuilt engine was disassembled and soda blasted. New gaskets, rebuilt heads. We used German parts for the rebuild. New heater boxes, new muffler and gaskets. Tins powder coated. New pushrod tubes and seals. New Bosch plugs, plug wires and points. New front and rear wheel cylinders. New front brake pads and rear brake shoes. New throttle cable. Correct VW battery cables, new battery tray and battery. Gas lines new plus filter. Gas tank coated inside. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. New oil filter and fuel filters. New CV boots, front end packed with grease. Transmission shifts smoothly.
Interior very clean, one worn place on front passenger seat. New curtains, new replacement top canvas and rubber seal for top. Interior has rare full bed up top and cabinet behind driver's seat. Glass is good with no cracks. Main key starts and opens all doors. Solid drip rails. Also includes child's cot and inside table. Original tool kit, jack, and emergency kit.
New German driveaway Herzog tent with poles. Original color Chianti Red, mileage 134, 493. Never wrecked, doglegs good, small amount of rust on driver's and passenger floor. Overall a solid bus. No miles on 1600cc dual-port engine with 4-speed transmission. Have extra new parts to go with bus.
