This 1970 Volkswagen Double Cab is knock out and ready for the beach! This vehicle was purchased from Florida two years ago and DRIVEN FROM FLORIDA TO INDIANA where it was taken to the local car show on the weekends. When we saw this vehicle, we jumped at the chance to make it part of our collection. You don't see these cool vehicles very often in this condition. There are plenty of projects out there that are waiting to drain your energy and your wallet. This Double Cab is turn key and ready to go! The exterior presents very well. The paint is glossy and has very few imperfections other than a few small chips that have been touched up neatly. The bed is in great shape as are the sides. The interior is like new and there are no visible imperfections. All weatherstripping, glass, and gaskets appear to be in very good condition. The underside has previously been undercoated and shows no visible signs of rot. The floors are VERY solid and show no visible signs of rot or previous repair. The original 1600 cc engine has been freshly rebuilt and is in tip top condition. The transmission shifts smoothly. All gauges and instruments are working as they should. This truck could cruise across the country again. As stated before, this VW is turn key and ready to go.
