I have put well over $20, 000 in this baby with receipts to prove it. My loss is your gain. New rebuilt engine from Bus Depot with less than 3000 miles on it. Starts right up and runs strong. I am selling it because I want to buy a house in about a year. This is my weekend car that I tried turning into a business which didn't work out; logos will be gone soon. TONS of new parts: Bus Depot long block Engine with less than 3000 miles, exhaust system, electric fuel pump, axles/shocks, clutch kit, air flow meter, power steering pump, hoses, heat shield, gas tank, locking gas cap, wiper blades, tinted windows, half moon rims with chrome trim, upgraded headlights with orange LEDS and so much more. Interior could use some work. You will not find an 85' Vanagon in this good of shape. 90+% of these type cars are rusted out, in the junkyard or on the west coast. Comes with a custom cover, spare headlights, two sets of keys, chrome window trim and a bunch of other extras. Paint job is 3 years old and not perfect.
The only thing that doesn't work at the moment is the reverse lights which is a cheap fix. Call or text to test drive. Bring your license. You wreck it you buy it.
Am looking for something a bit more modern with less maintenance. Willing to trade for Ford F-450 Bus or something similar to a large passenger bus. 75, 000 miles or less only because the engine in this classic is like new.
