1961 Split Window Shorty Bus
. Very solid, near rust free, Dry West Coast Bus that was originally a 15 window shortened to a 13 window. As you can see from the pics, the chassis is extremely solid. The original rear suspension was cut out and fitted with the better bay window rear suspension. However, the suspension has has to be welded at joint (as pictured). Only comes as pictured, no other parts included. No engine or transmission. Bus has a clear non-executed title from title service company but is sold with bill of sale only. I have too many projects and won't be able to get to this one for a while so I decided to put it up for sale. Vehicle is sold As-Is, Where-Is with no expressed or implied warranty. I am not a mechanic so personal inspection is recommended if you have any questions. The Drivers side of vehicle is in approximately the same condition as the passenger side shown in the pictures (the bus was too close to the garage wall to take pics of drivers side) Mileage is unknown. Rear suspension is on a wooden dolly cradle with wheels for transport. I believe the original color was Dove Blue. All glass is in good shape except cracked vent windowI on passenger door, which I have a replacement for and is included. I can keep bus in storage for a couple weeks until transport can be arranged by buyer.
