This is a rare Volkswagen that it is in pretty rough condition and is being sold for parts, or restore. No rust or collision damage, but lots of dents and scratches, cracked windshield, mismatched wheels, and the interior isn't any better. This was my daily driver for about a year but is parked to due zero compression on one cylinder. I suspect a burned piston and/or valve. Symptoms indicate a teardown is needed and I don't have the means or inclination to do it. Brakes and 5 speed manual trans are good, supercharger is still strong but is also due for routine rebuild. Hood latch and hinges are shot but it has hood pins. Engine was very strong with the boost, before it dropped the one cylinder. Clean Title. Odometer reads 119250, I cannot say if this is correct or not, but the odometer and speedo have been working the whole time I've driven it.
Again to be clear it is being sold as is for parts or repair only. It can be started and drove, but is only firing 3 cylinders and should not be driven anywhere but onto a trailer.
Pickup is in North Wichita. If you want to arrange freight I will be glad to make myself available to help them load it. It can be started and driven onto a trailer, but with the condition of the engine if should not be driven home. If you are in the area, please contact me so you can come see it for yourself.
