The car is in good shape and does not need anything but a new driver. I get consistently 47mpg going 80mph. In town I get in the low 40's. The car is capable of 60 mpg if you baby the gas pedal. I love this car and it will be sad to see her go but I no longer need it.

The set up retails for about twice that much. I bought the Jetta wagon because I could not find anything with more space that got anywhere close to the fuel economy. I just put new suspension on the car and it rides very nicely. The Michelin tires are in excellent shape. VW spec Synthetic oil has always been used. All new glow plugs and harness as of this winter. The EGR was also replaced over the winter. I have a very thick stack of service records I'll include with the car. The timing belt was last done at 155, 926Cat delete. I can not guarantee it will pass emissions in your area.
