You are bidding on a running, driving 1995 Volkswagen Jetta ( THE CAR HAS QUITE A BIT OF RUST)
I have been driving this as my daily for the summer, and have installed a new clutch kit, manual clutch cable, brake master cylinder, a set of control arm bushings a water neck, and many other misc parts. The car has new brake lines, fuel lines, and an exhaust that is dead silent! The car runs and drives, but needs brakes bled as the pedal is a little spongy, it also needs an alignment pretty bad as I had the struts out whilst replacing the transmission. This one shifts good but the reverse, like many MK2s isn't the greatest. I never use it. The previous owner also had some interesting ideas about replacing a failed ignition switch, they have damaged the key cylinder so I removed it and the car starts with a slotted screw driver now. The housing is a little damaged, but there is no damage to the actual column, so if you bring a cylinder or even a housing containing a cylinder, and I will more then happily install it for you, or you can drive it around like I have been just using a screw driver.
I am more then happy to show the car and facilitate test drives, but like many people today are, I work long hours and have little leisure time so OLD GUYS, 16 YEAR OLDS WITH NO MONEY, and TIME WASTERS (including people asking me to end auction early) don't bother. Especially the jobless old guys, I can spot you from a mile away, seriously you would not believe how much time I have wasted showing stuff i'm selling on Craigslist to these people
