This is one of the best and most reliable Jetta's ever made. The 2.5L won't win any speed races but wins hands down in endurance. This car has 168k on her but runs like new. She drives straight as an arrow and has great handling. We bought the car while in FL from the original owner in WV. The car spent 6 months in FL and now almost 3 years in ME. I undercoated it before coming to ME and this car has held up wonderfully.

Here is a list of recent updates:New set of Cooper all season tires with now about 5, 000 miles on them this past summer.Comes with extra set of rims and snow tires. Two tires still good other two should be replaced.New pulleys installed this summer.Transmission fluid replaced with synthetic this summer.New rotors and pads installed at same time as new tires this summer.New catalytic converter and O2 sensor this summer.Current Issues:Cruise Control doesn't work (poor connection in stalk on steering column)Front bumper has crack (person backed into car with a bike rack on their car) Picture includedDriver seat has a few small cuts that have been there for a year, but the synthetic leather isn't ripping further and it hasn't gotten worse since first noticed. Picture included.Headliner is falling down in back. Florida heat does a number on those headliners.I use Mobile1 Synthetic every 5k with a new filter for my oil changes. I always keep the oil topped of and kept everything in good order.

The check engine light is on. I replaced the Cat and O2 sensor myself, and either the sensor is bad or the Cat I got off ebay is a dud. I will fix this for the buyer on my own dime, since worse case is $200 for a new Cat. It's throwing a past Cat o2 sensor reading but that could also be from a bad Cat. Once again I'll take care of or will sell it for $200 less than winning bid if desired.
This has been an awesome car! Only reason why we are selling is my wife has a new car and I have my own and we don't need 3 cars. Whoever gets this car will love it. If you have any other questions or would like more pics, please email me and I'll be happy to meet your needs.
