Up for sale is my 2008 Volkswagen R32. This was a limited edition model that Volkswagen manufactured only in 2004 and 2008, making only 5000 vehicles in each production run. With only 46900 miles, this is one of the lowest mileage R32's you'll find anywhere. Mechanically and cosmetically, the car is nearly perfect. The car has always been adult-owned and never smoked in. I'm the second owner and have maintained this car meticulously while I've had it. It's never been in an accident (feel free to check out the CarFax or Experian report) and has never had so much as a flat tire while in my care. All service was done either in my family's automotive shop (routine maintenance) or at the dealership (for major jobs). It recently received the 45, 000 mile service from Stone Mountain VW, including the required DSG service. I have paperwork from them listing that every major system in the car is functioning perfectly, as well as extensive service records from my ownership of the car.
Needless to say, it's fast. With the upgraded exhaust and intake, I'd estimate that it's making around 275 hp at the crank. The DSG transmission is a semi-automatic transmission with Tiptronic, paddle shifters and built-in launch control. The AWD system in these cars is incredible and keeps the car super planted in the corners. It also has a navigation system, which is the only option that was available on these cars, with satellite radio and an aux input. The seats, which are in great shape, are super comfortable with nice high bolsters. Everyone that rides in it comments on how comfortable they are. The Dunlop Direzza tires have about 50% life left, so you can definitely get some time out of them as well. I also installed 6 new OEM spark plugs about a month ago. The paint, interior and wheels are like new as well.
Upgrades include a Milltek catback exhaust ($900 new), a Forge Motorsport intake ($400 new), tinted windows (20% front, 15% rear) and a Thule locking roof rack with faring and two locking bike carriers ($1000 new). The exhaust and intake give it an incredible exhaust note with tons of low end, no highway drone and none of the raspiness that came from the OEM exhaust. I hate to get rid of this car, but I just don't get the chance to drive it anymore. Roof rack will only be included at the Buy It Now price.
