Description:

VW rabbit non-turbo diesel pickup with manual transmission. Would be a great one to restore and get 50mpg with after you're done with it. I bought it with that intention but ended up not having the time to really get started. It does not run currently and will be a bit of a project, but these trucks are incredibly hard to find and make amazing gas saving machines when they're running.
I got it in the condition it is in now about 6 months ago. I rolled it under the barn and the breaks stopped good and there it has sat ever since. Here is every issue I can think to mention about it, but keep in mind this is a project truck and will be sold as is. I was told it had been running about a month before I bought it but that the engine will need rebuilding now. The camshaft is out of the engine and sitting in the passenger seat. There is a crack in the windshield, the driver side glass and the tailgate are missing, there is significant rust in the bed, but only minor rust elsewhere that I notice. No battery, the hood will need to be reattached (just sitting on the truck now).
It will be sold with a bill of sale. Alabama does not title vehicles 35 years and older so be sure to check with your state to make sure this will not be an issue (Will definitely be ok in Alabama and Georgia, but I don't know other state laws). VIN 1VWK0017xbv195145
