1973 VW THING!

Looking for a VW Thing and tired of finding rust buckets?
This spectacular VW Thing is RUST FREE! Dad restored this car for his daughter to drive so you can imagine that extra care was taken to ensure the Thing was gone through from front to back. It was a solid vehicle to begin with. No rust on the rear shelf, and no rust in the front trunk or the engine bay! The Thing was so clean and original that most of the factory decals were preserved. Sections of the floors were replaced and welded in properly with metal. The transmission was completely rebuilt just 500 miles ago by one of the industry's BEST!

The THING looks great, runs great, shifts great, and includes the hard to find side curtains, a new convertible top, and even retains the original gas heater! The Thing is a hoot to drive with surprisingly peppy performance! The interior is immaculate with new upholstery and the oak floorboard inserts are a nice touch. You WILL get more attention in this car than your neighbor does in his Ferrari!
