Up for sale is a freshly restored 1973 VW Thing in the original pumpkin orange. This Thing has had a complete body off restoration with attention to detail. The body was media blasted to bare metal so any rust problems have been addressed. The rear floor pans on both sides have been replaced with 100% steel and no filler. The 1600cc engine has been rebuilt to stock specifications with new pistons, rings, cylinders, bearings, valves, and valve springs. New clutch plate, gland nut, and throw out bearing have also been installed. Only about 500 miles have been put on the vehicle since it was completed. The top is a quality replacement top from The Thing Shop in very good condition. This is a very fun car ready to drive and show. This vehicle is located in Jarrell Texas.
