This is a totally (freshly) restored 1973 VW THING with clear title I spent about three years restoring this car. This VW had just over 48, 000 original miles on it when I began the restoration. This car has about 50 miles on it since the restoration so it is a fresh restoration. It has the original engine which was totally rebuilt including new clutch, resurfaced flywheel, throw out bearing, new exhaust, carburetor (still have the original carb), new throttle cable. .new. .new... new... fresh paint job by MAICO (approx $5, 000.00) , new interior, new top, new trans-axles, new high speed transmission which was $1, 000.00 by itself) I still have the original stock transmission which will be included to any buyer there is nothing wrong with the original transmission, new brakes, new top, new side curtains, new stock interior, I disassembled the seats and had them hot tanked and painted the springs in the seats too...new tires (including spare)...the white walls are removable inserts if you do not like the white walls simply take them off, new stock German wiper blades, wiper motor taken apart and cleaned and lubricated, new stock floor mats, stock hub caps, I have a ton of money invested in this VW (and time) and I have all of the receipts to prove my investment in this fresh restoration. The Top Header is original and solid it was removed all sanded and painted as well as all top bows. The floors are SOLID even the area where the battery is located is SOLID...I paid strict attention to keeping this VW STOCK in most every way. This VW is located in Temecula, CA and can be inspected upon appointment. Payment by Bank Wire Transfer or cash (in person) at time of pickup (no checks) $500.00 deposit due after auction ends balance due within three business days after auction ends unless other arrangements are made.
