Up for auction is a gorgeous and timeless example of the workhorse of Swedish engineering. This 1990 Volvo 240 DL Wagon is in excellent condition, with no rust and having just been serviced with all fluids changed including radiator flush and fill, new upper and lower hoses, Mobil 1 synthetic oil, filter, spark plugs, new brakes, new exhaust, new timing belt, and Bosch battery. This car has always been loved and taken care of and it shows. Engine runs strong with the die hard 2.3 liter engine. Trans shifts perfect, no lag going into gears.
The exterior looks great with the Midnight Blue color over the matching Blue interior. There are two small seam splits on the drivers seat that have been repaired. There are two hairline cracks on the dash as well. None of this takes away from the overall mint condition of the car. The trunk is ridiculously big even without folding down the back seat. Carpets are cleaned and include 4 black rubber mats.
