Rare- 1987 Volvo 240 5 speed manual transmission. Only 162K
Original miles. Daily driver for last four years . I purchased from Volvo
mechanic who serviced it for years and then bought for his own family use.
Couldn't count how many people have approached me about this car. Some people
just love them.
Good Points- Numerous expensive parts recently replaced. Strong Engine. Basic
body strong, no accidents or body work one. Engines on these are often seen
with 300 to 400K.Has a lot of life left in it for those who might appreciate
potential.
Bad Points- Clutch is going or could be other issue. I bought smaller automatic
for daily use and am moving so I just don't have the time , room or knowledge
to do it justice. It is after all nearly thirty years old and has rust on
bottom panels as is common with these. Needs some trim re-attached (have most).
Normal paint oxidation but polishes up pretty good. Inside has rough spots.
Moving and must sell so will look forward to hearing best offer out there.
