Rare Volvo. Why? The color. Only 1500 were made in this color and ONLY in 1996. Also known and an 850 TLA. All are 222HP turbo's with 4 speed automatic. Has power windows/locks/sunroof, power antenna(working) AM/FM/Cassette with external power amp(factory), Power heated seats(work), ABS and traction control(work) trip computer, turbo gauge,
The good: Runs and drives good, New head gasket(previous owner had fan disconnected and overheated), good tires, good brake pads, new coolant bottle and coolant, new front control arms, new oil and filter, Odometer gear replaced, dash lights all work, ABS module rebuilt. NO RUST(they DO NOT salt roads here Since it doesn't snow much here)
The bad: small dent in front passenger door(a good paintless dent place can take care of it), Hood is original but gas been painted and somewhat faded.The rest of the car has good paint aside from the usual. Fog lamps are missing but are available on ebay for around $60 new, rear deck speaker is bad; easy to replace. Air conditioning does not work(not sure why yet), Hood latch sticks on passenger side(very common), THE WHEELS ARE NOT ORIGINAL. THEY WERE LONG GONE WHEN I GOT THE CAR. Has standard 15 wheels
