The 1998 model in this color is RARE and few and far between ( I know, I have spent years finding another one). The 98 C70 has a cable gas pedal where the 99 and up have the digital gas. The cable gas pedal gives the car a more sporty feel and less jerky response. The price on this car is based on the knowledge that the 98 is the more desired car among Volvo people, not on age, mileage or anything else.
The timing belt, tensioner, water pump system and rear main seal were changed last month (August 2015). A vital Volvo maintenance, which will be good for another 70k miles before needed again
Upper engine mount was also replaced Aug. 2015
Synthetic Valvoline Oil Change with Bosch Oil Filter Aug. 2015 (Good for approximately 8, 000 miles)
Total recent repairs of $1125
Car has tinted windows, cold AC, no leaks, and is very solid.
Has a very nice stereo system, sound is awesome!
Front Tires are around 70%, Rear Tires 50-60% all Continental Brand
Will need brakes soon and ABS/Tracs light is on (common on the 98 model) about a $150 total repair
