Selling my 72 Volvo 1800ES local Daily Driver. Car has a clean Michigan title in my name. Have no idea of true mileage. Car has been repainted. I bought this car in Ohio and before that I think it spent most of it's life in New York State. I have uploaded a huge selection of picture slideshows & videos on YouTube. My description: Ok/good body with bad sections of floors and frame rails. Rust looks ugly but repair patches are easy to find and fairly cheap. Repairs could be left as is while using as a local daily driver. Car could use new paint. No signs of any previous accidents. Interior is in good general shape. Dash is cracked top and bottom. Door panels are poor and could use replacing. All gauges and switches in good condition. I think the oil temp gauge does not work as well as the clock. All interior window and door handles work. Both doors open and close well. Passengers side exterior door handle button is stuck and requires to be opened from the inside. Rear end and brakes work well. Gas tank is in good condition with a working fuel pump. New brake hoses installed front & back. Car was last driven on a regular basis in 2012. I took a 14 mile trip yesterday with no issues. Engine has good even compression in the mid 150's across all four cylinders. Starts every time. Has had recent oil change & filter. Car does not smoke. Transmission works great. Exhaust leak noise in the engine bay. Think the exhaust manifold gasket needs replaced. Please only bid if your serious and you have the money. If you need permission from a family member before buying please do so! It takes a lot of time to sell a car and I don't want to relist it. ...again. Thanks!
Car is as they say sold as is. I have shipped many cars and can help you make arrangements. I'm able to help load the car. My street has access for a full size car carrier semi. I can also deliver the car myself for a fee if your not far away. Payment in cash is always best but money orders, wire transfers, cashiers checks are also ok. Sorry no trades. Good luck!
