I have a 1970 Volvo P1800 E that I purchased from a gentleman that owned the car since 1970. He owned two of these cars one for his wife and one for himself. They bought the vehicles from a dealership in New York and drove them back to Wisconsin. He sold the car to me while getting his estate in order. At the time I purchased the car it was not running it sat for a few years. I cleaned the gas tank and put on a new fuel pump and filter and cleaned the gas lines and the car started. The car starts cold in the morning, but starts fine when engine is warm. The engine sounds good and the car shifts well. The clutch seems to be good and the brakes work. I have not taken it on a long ride, just around town. The car is being sold as is. It has some rust in spots...please see the pictures. The paint is not perfect, has been repainted just ok, 6 out 10... There are a few dents, nicks, dings. ..The car seems to be all there... very original. The clear title is in my name. The car shows 48, 000 miles; however the speedometer does not work. At the end of the auction buyer is responsible for arranging all transportation. I will help load the car. $500.00 down payment must be paid within 24 hours. The car can be picked up after all funds have cleared. This car will make a great candidate for a restoration. .
