2000 Volvo S80 A/C Test
We are the second owners of this Volvo. The first Owner drove it on an annual basis to Connecticut. We bought it for $4, 000 with 180K on the odometer, now it reads just over 205K. The engine and drivetrain is extremely smooth. A/C blows ice cold and powerful. Super reliable, very safe, great travel car with a 21 gal. fuel tank & gets a steady 25 MPG on the highway! Always performed routine maintenance, oil changes, filters, etc.
Have paperwork for following new parts & labor:
new radiator
new timing belt & water pump (189K)
2 new ignition coils (191K)
new heater core
The sunroof works but needs new plastic guides, so we don't use it & the CD player accepts discs but will not play.
This generation model was Volvo's last spacious luxury model, their present S80's are more compact.
