Mechanics Project Car / No RESERVE Auction

This car is NOT currently running and will require work.
I purchased this car three years ago for my nanny to drive, but now it has been sitting for about a year - so it has a dead battery, but it ran before that. I never really drove it much - so I don't have a personal driving history of it. When my nanny was last driving it, he said that the transmission was not as responsive as it once was. I drove it a couple of times after that and noticed when you slowed from about 50MPH to 30-35MPH the car would hesitate and would not immediately take off. It has a manual transmission option mode which is the way I usually drove it. As far as I know everything else worked when I last drove it.

SAFETY:
Given the use I was concerned about safety when my nanny was using the car. This is from a Volvo web site:
It has a comprehensive list of standard safety features, including shoulder straps for all occupants, dual front airbags, the WHIPS whiplash protection system, an inflatable curtain (IC) on the side of the car to protect both front and rear-seat occupants during a side impact, and the STC traction control system. A dynamic stability control system is provided for improved traction, handling, and safety in all conditions, including ice and snow.
Condition: The right rear quarter panel is dented and somebody has just recently rubbed the bumper at the front left - see pictures. The round plastic window trim where the glass retracts into the door is cracked and tired. Also the previous owner had put some kind of clear rock chip coating on the mirrors and wheel wells - it now looks bad, but it can be removed as you can see on the passenger mirror where I started the removal. The interior is in pretty good shape - a few very minor trim pieces are missing, but there are no rips or tears in the seats and the overall condition is quite acceptable for a car of this age.
As I recall it currently has approximately 140, 000 miles and I have a clear title. I am not a mechanic but will be happy to try to answer questions or send additional pictures. Thank you for looking.

4. The remainder of the balance is due within 7 days of the Auction end.
5. Final balance is cash or bank cashier's check only. I will not accept Credit Cards, money orders, or Personal checks.
6. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup… including transportation, shipping and handling of the vehicle (vehicle is located in Portland, Oregon 97202). You are welcome to use any transporter you choose to come pick up the vehicle.
7. Once the vehicle is paid for in full the buyer's insurance takes over.
8. I reserve the right to refuse the sale of any vehicle to any bidder or buyer at our discretion should we deem it necessary for any reason.
9. I reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback.
10. I reserve the right to end this auction early and sell this vehicle at any time if the reserve has not been met or the auction has not ended.
