Up for sale is my 2004 V70R. 300 HP 6 speed manual. If you're reading this you probably know what you want, & know what this car has to offer. Purchased from the 2nd owner 2 years ago( who had it from 20K) with 152K. He was a LA county firefighter who drove in from San Diego county twice a week(about 500 miles weekly), so mostly highway miles. I've only put 9K on it in 2 years, running down to CA & back many times. Runs & drives great. I also had a wrecked V70R that I parted out, so I got rid of the worn Gobi tan seats & swapped in MUCH nicer looking black ones, along with the nicer '05 console & shortened shifter mod. No changes to engine or tune, except for a hi end downpipe( NOT an OBX) & removing the center muffler. Sounds great & not ricey, should still pass smog, though we don't have it here. A bit less low end(that big 24T lag) but really strong up top.Timing belt was done at 120K, front struts also replaced with OEM. 3 way suspension works as it should. Also new this week-windshield & 4 new tires, also upgraded to 18 wheels & even have a 5th R rim with full size spare. I have the spacesaver too, if you want it. Heavy floor mats from a crosscountry over the clean R carpet ones. The only issues are a few dings, worst on L passenger door(tried to show in one of last pics). Front bumper/spoiler scuffed on lower lip & typical stone chips on bumper, hood & headlights consistent with the mileage. Small crack on rear hatch by licence plate area & chip in paint below tailight on bumper. Small crease behind L front wheel. Utah sun was not kind to black plastic trim by windshield. Probably looks worse in picture, not that noticeable from 10 feet. 1 wheel has some cosmetic(not deep)curbing, 1 minor & other 2 good.(worst pictured) Plastic cover on rain sensor missing from a windshield change prior to me. I've tried to be a thorough & honest as I can. Stick shift R's are getting hard to find, especially the wagon. Reserve is about what similar R's have sold for recently. I WANT TO SELL IT! I'll miss this car , only selling because I picked up a lifted built Subaru, more suitable to Utah life. I'm 2 hrs north of Las Vegas, NV. A cheap flight & shuttle($40) from anywhere. I will be out of town after 6-8, car can then be picked up at a friends shop, if you can't make it sooner.
