Description:

Selling a 2004 Volvo XC70 Cross Country. Car is navy blue with tan interior.
The Good:
- Body and interior are presentable. Some minor scuffs and dings, but nothing that interferes with the vehicle's operation.
- Power accessories, except for the passenger's seat, all work.
- Heat and heated seats work great. A/C - last time I used it - also worked great.
- Has keyless entry and a sunroof. Also has a CD player.
- Original owner's manual comes with car.
- NJ DMV inspected until November 2016.
The bad:
- AWD does not work. It was disconnected by the previous owner. The car operates in front-wheel drive, and that is how I've been using the car.
- Power steering HAD a small leak. I threw in a bottle of Lucas stop-leak, and that seemed to do the trick.
- 208, 000 miles.
The ugly:
Car will eventually need a new CEM (secondary computer). While the car runs and drives, it shouldn't be driven for long distances until this is rectified. If the car IS driven for long distances, there is a chance that the electronics will shut down on you while driving. If this happens, you'll be able to get the car back home (or to a repair shop) on its own power...but you won't have important functions, like your speedometer, power windows, etcetera. You can purchase a CEM online; prices range anywhere from $100 on up for a used one...not including programing (this can be done by any Volvo dealership OR a Volvo mechanic with ViDA and DICE equipment. And no, I don't know what that will cost...).

1 - Can I test drive it? Absolutely. Just do not remove it from my development.
2 - What's wrong with the car? I've already told you what I know.
3 - I didn't read your ad. Does it run? Re-read my ad, and call me back.
4 - Can I come see the car today? Yes.
5 - Will you take $400 for it? LOL!!!!!! No.
6 - Do you guarantee the car? No. I'm not a dealership. I'm a private seller.
7 - Will the car make it to Manhattan/Philadelphia/Guam/some really far away place under its own power? It very well might. But I wouldn't advise it, unless you're brave.
