1933 Willys Model 77
Steel car, except for the rear fenders. ..not a glass knockoff!
This car was campaigned back in the 60's and 70's as Smilin' Jack!
We had the honor of meeting the gentleman that used to own and drive the car.
Thousands of hours were put into this car to make it what it is today.
Everything is polished, plated, anodized or powder coated.
A lot of custom machine work, engineering and detail!
We have 2 complete binders with all the box tops and tabs from the parts installed in the car for future reference.
BODY
Body has NO patch panels or repaired rust.
Chopped back in 1965 by S&W Speed Shop.
Roof filled in.
Firewall smoothed out.
Front fenders have had the rain gutters filled, bumper openings filled, reliefs around header openings around the running boards rebuilt with 1/8 steel.
Grill crank hole removed and entire grill surrounded with chromoly to reinforce.
Hood modified with custom center peak and stainless steel hood ornament, hood is DZUS fastened on 4 corners.
Taillights are original but shortened 2.
Rear bumper is chromoly tubing that has been chrome plated.
Door handles are stainless steel reproductions.
CHASSIS
Pro built 8 point chassis with side bars.
Chassis is a highly modified original 33 Willys frame.
Boxed front end has been rebuilt from the firewall and modified with a 3 kick up.
Front axle is a tube axle that has been chrome plated.
Vega cross-steering, new Bill Mullins box.
Dana 60 rear end.
Mark Williams spool, axles and gears, 4:11 ratio, 11/16 studs.
JFZ brakes on all 4 corners.
Halibrand Magnesium wheels, front are 4 1/2X15 and rears are 14X15 with 18 Mickey Thompson tires.
INTERIOR
'66 GTO tilt steering column with factory turn signals.
Autometer gauges.
Corbeau seats with red and black vinyl, diamond stitched.
Interior is .040 aluminum with 2 coats of transparent red powder coating.
Headliner with louvers is chrome plated.
ALL interior screws are polished 10-32 stainless.
5 point seat belts.
Power windows.
Interior firewall is 1/8 aluminum DZUS fastened, retains all electronics and circuit breakers.
DRIVETRAIN
LS-6 454 engine that put out 610 HP on the dyno.
12.5:1 compression.
NOS has been installed, bottle was never filled and all custom stainless lines for the nitrous to the manifold.
Crower roller cam, .580 lift.
Aluminum heads with stainless steel valves.
Crower springs and roller lifters.
Port matched with open and blended bowls.
Dart manifold with single Dominator carb.
BG 1050 Holley.
Balanced and blueprinted.
MSD ignition with 7AL box.
Chassis mounted engine oil cooler.
TCI 400 Street fighter trans with trans brake, line lock and blanket.
Transmission oil cooler.
J&W bellhousing.
Flywheel shield.
Griffin aluminum radiator.
Nostalgia drag fast collector boxes.
Nostalgia rear covers, GEIS.
This is one hell of a car for the money!
It drives, handles and brakes amazing.
I have NEVER driven the car on the track so I do not know what it'll run. .at one time it was an NHRA certified chassis.
Local pick up in Broadview Heights, Ohio
Delivery is available for a fee.
Cash in hand or wire transfer only unless other arrangements have been made prior to you bidding!
Car can been seen weekdays between 9-4 and put on a lift to be inspected. .I have nothing to hide.
I will ship overseas, car can be picked up and all arrangements must be made by winning buyer once funds have cleared.
