If you are a car enthusiast, you cannot help but like the1940-1941 Willys Americar Coupe. These have always been iconic in the custom car and drag racing hobby. Here we have an outstanding example of a 1941 Willys coupe with an Outlaw Performance body. The exterior is finished in a custom two-tone PPG Raspberry pearl and black basecoat/clearcoat paint with custom accents. It contains original style moldings and trim. This mean cruiser is loaded with state of the art equipment and mechanical systems as follows: The engine is a G.M. 502 cubic-inch fuel injected Ram Jet that has been completely chromed out by Street & Performance. It’s kept running cool with a Walker radiator and thermostat controlled electric fans. It is backed by a custom built G.M. 4L80E transmission, Outlaw Performance stage III 102” wheel base chassis with braided and polished stainless steel lines, polished stainless upper and lower control arms, rack and pinion steering, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with 4-piston calipers, 11-inch drilled and slotted rotors, 4-link Detroit Locker 4:10 gear rear end with 31-spline axles, Ride Tech Shock Waves on all four corners, Centerline Convo-Pro polished aluminum wheels(15X7 front/15X15 rear) with Hoosier tires. It has HPC coated exhaust with baffled mufflers by Custom Craft in Hackett, Arkansas. The interior is a custom light gray ultra-leather and suede with TEAS design seat, Dolphin nostalgic gauges, Secret Audio stereo with 10 CD changer, Ron Francis wiring harness, Vintage heat and air, Phipps Billet vents, dome light and accent lights. Lokar shifter, brake, gas, and emergency brake, Specialty remote power windows, door poppers, and trunk release. This Willys was built to drive and it cruises down the road like a dream, and with only 933 miles on the build, it leaves plenty of enjoyment.
