Description:
This is a very original rare CJ6. The CJ 6 had the extending length body as the Scrambler but the body ends just past the rear wheels giving it the bobbed look (much better than the Scrambler for off road use. This was built as a military tribute vehicle and with the CJ5 hard top it creates kind of a pickup bed area and resembles a Hummer (kind of). It is ready right now as a every day driver. It comes with a rear view mirror needing to be put on and a brand new period steering wheel (needs to be installed).Has new leaf springs on all four corners, 16 military wheels, like new off road tires, oil and filter change, new spark plugs and wires, head was resurfaced, new gasket and engine flush with new antifreeze. | “Sometimes pops out of second gear when decelerating down a hill. Numerous small dings in body. Gas gauge and temp gauge don't work. After market heater was installed by previous owner and water pump is not pumping through heater core. Water lines flow and pump is working well but I don't think hoses were hook up to proper locations. Everything described should be easy fixes and I will probably have most resolved before shipped.” |
