1952 M38A1 Jeep. This 1952 M38A1 is a very early example of the M38A1 variation. Split windshield, fold down grill and wing-nut battery compartment are characteristics of very early production M38A1. This 'Jeep' has 27, 500 original miles. This is not a military vehicle converted for civilian use; it remains as it was from the factory. 24V electrical, mechanical fuel pump, water proof electrical system, 3 speed B/W transmission and and incredibly reliable 'Hurricane' engine. The fuel pump and carburetor have been rebuilt. A complete tune-up has been performed including new water proof plugs and wires. All fluids changed and fresh paint in 2013. This Jeep starts immediately and runs strong. No noisy lifters, trans shifts fine and brakes are strong. I added seat belts but otherwise this is as it came for the military. Tires (excepts spare) are new, vacuum wipers work, new window seal. You will not be disappointed! Call 773-425-4747 (Rob) with any questions.
