!949 Willys Jeepster. Yes its a 49. I know it has a 1950 front end on it. Best I can figure is that sometime in the last 60 years someone decided they liked the pointy fenders better than the square ones. It's been garaged almost all of its life, hence the great general shape and lack of any major rust problems. The loss of that storage is whats prompting this sale. It has the I4 cylinder that does start and run but will not continue to run unless you bottle feed it. it hasn't been driven for several years so the brake fluid has dried up. It'll need a complete going through before it can be driven again. Interior is in pretty good shape. the top has seen better days because of the dry rot from the storage. Trans is 3 on the tree w/overdrive. Tires have lots of tread but are not new. The right rear fender has been repaired improperly from some sort of scuffle. It's been converted to a 1 wire gm type alternator and has fried that wire sometime in the past. insp welcome. Questions welcome. I'm listing this for a friend but I have full access to the Jeep and can get answers to any detailed questions fairly quickly. Thanks for looking.
