Description:

1948 Jeepster, that had a frame up restoration completed in 2009, stored under cover in a garage , used occassionaly since.
The body was disasembled, stripped to bare metal, any rusted metal was replaced with new , welded in place and the body was finished in base coat clear coat sportsman green by a professional body shop
Parts replaced during restoration include:
* complete wire harness as original, voltage regulator, exterior lamps and sockets, ignition coil, ignition wires, ignition cylinder, fuel sender, turn signals installed, horn switch, brake switch, headlamp switch replaced, generator rebuilt
*Brake lines all replaced, brake hoses, wheel cylinders, shoes , rear brake drums, axle seals, master cylinder, parking cable
*Front and rear shocks, front suspension bushings, tie rod ends, bearings repacked, new grease seals, 5 new bias ply white wall tires
*Chrome bumpers replated, new wheel covers and trim rings, stainless body trim polished
*Exhaust system replaced, Carburator replaced,
Engine was compression tested, resealed, new water pump, thermostat, radiator re-cored
*Interior front seat springs replaced, all seats recovered in original style material, door and trim panels recovered, carpet installed
*Top , side curtains, tonneau cover replaced in stay-fast cloth, the flannel car cover is included.
The Jeepster is a fun car for an evening or Sunday drive, runs great. It was a labor of love restoring it, and looks terrific!
I have another project now , so Its time to pass it on to someone else. The jeepster is sold as-is , and is located in Florida.
The known flaws are fuel gauge and overdrive solenoid are faulty, radio is not connected, Florida
title shows color as blue not green but reads correct VIN number.
