Here is a 1948 Willys Jeepster with the Flathead 4 Cylinder engine that I was told had a rebuild about 3 years ago but has not been driven alot. It runs good for a 4 cylinder flathead. It has the 3 speed on the column with overdrive that works. It shifts out good. Clutch feels good. It don't shack when taking off. It is yellow in color with Black top and Black seats. The paint shows good but not perfect by any means. There is some minor bubbling and rust on the body but not bad. It has some filler in it as well but again not bad. The interior is in good condition with black vinyl type material covering the seats. The gauges all appear to be working. I have the side curtains that snap on the sides. The air vent in front opens like it should. The head lights and tail lights work as does the brake lights. It has no blinkers and did not come with any but you can add a blinker system to it. It had a new Master Cylinder and Wheel Cylinder put on it back in 2013 so it stops good. It has manual steering of course and drum brakes. The horn does not work. The bumpers look good but are not new. The top is in real nice condition. The front end looks to need new bushings and maybe new bearings as the front tire on drivers side is worn on the inside. The other 3 tires have alot more tread on them. All new tires would be a good idea. It is still 6 Volt. It has a manual hand choke as well as the foot start but it starts easy. This is a nice and clean vehicle but not perfect. I have alot more pics of the car if anyone wants to see more and will take any pic of the car that you want see. In my opinion it's a good car for the money.
This Jeepster is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will know exactly what you are bidding on but must be done BEFORE END OF AUCTION!! If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought this car. Please understand this. This Jeepster is being sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia WILL NOT issue a title on any vehicle this old.
