Willys M38 (1952)

Price: US $4,500.00
Own a piece of Americana. The jeep is a genuine Korean War era military Willy's M38. For convenience, it has been converted to the current standard voltage (12V). It has a CJ-3a gas tank and a modern rack for M1 Garrand rifle. The serial numbers are stickers, but I have been told they are the original numbers. The engine is original and runs extremely well. The jeep starts up quickly; indeed it has never failed to start. The steering has some play; my mechanic recommended keeping the steering as is, but I would suggest tightening it up a little. The jeep has a valid transferable registration and passed NYS inspection in July 2015.
Purchase requires a $500 deposit, which I would refund if you choose not to buy the jeep upon test drive.
The jeep is the perfect Fourth of July vehicle, and would fit very well in a parade.
Thank you for looking.

“The jeep is in good condition and runs very well. Being 63 years old, it does have some wear and tear, such as worn out rubber boots on the shifters, and the windshield gasket has cosmetic wear due to sun exposure; the windshield is secure. The steering has some play. Sale is contingent on YOUR satisfaction after test drive.” |
