Up for sale is a 1942 Willys MB early WWII wartime Army Jeep with the original serial plate on the chassis horn. The accessories that are shown in the photos are also included, which include shovel, axe, fire extinguisher, gun case, WWII boots and helmet, replica grenade crate, two military style bags and two canteens, bridge plate, jerry gas can, rope, and soft canvas top.
Trailer Sold Separately: I am separately selling a matching m416 1966 military trailer with gray canvas tarp that is NOT included in this auction. The winning bid for the Willys MB will have first option to purchase this matching M416 trailer separately. I am asking an additional $2, 500 for it, OBO. The pintle hitch that is currently on the Willys MB will go with the trailer. If the trailer does not sell separately I will keep it or post it for sale later, so contact me if you are interested in the trailer alone.
This is a Turn Key jeep, and can be driven home, or anywhere it needs to go. It is great in Parades and in the woods (although I’ve never driven it off-road and it has been garage kept). I use it currently for trips to the hardware store and Walmart. You get lots of looks and high fives. This is a Fun jeep!
4 Cylinder Flat Head Go-Devil engine that runs strong with a well-tuned carburetor. It cold starts first try every time winter or summer. The jeep has good brakes, and drives straight down the road, with no play in the wheel. Body is in great shape and has a fresh coat of paint and stencils.
This Willys MB is street legal and safe with clear Kansas tag, blinkers, tail lights, headlights, olive drab seat belts, and brake lights. I have hidden the blinkers and tail lights so that you cannot notice them, so the look of the jeep remains accurate. The tail lights and blinkers have been hidden behind the rear reflectors and are mounted in the tool box. The front blinkers are under the fender and are painted green to blend in.
One neat upgrade is the seat has been pushed back about 3 for more leg room and bigger bellies. This makes it very comfortable to drive, and it's not visually obvious at all. Being 6’ tall, this change has solved one of my biggest complaints about these vintage jeeps.
Many new parts such as gas tank, sending unit, seats, cushions, grille, lights, blackout lights, tires, steering wheel, ignition switch, etc.

Door safety straps
It has had a 12V upgrade conversion to a modern alternator.
Throttle cable works.
Emergency brake cane handle installed, but cable is not hooked up.
All instruments, switches and lights are operational.
Both tool boxes latch easily, but one of the lockable push button is missing.
Working headlights, blinkers, black-out, tail lights, brake, and dash lights.
Oil drips here and there, but nothing unexpected.
The glove box button is keyed, but I do not have the key.
Four new military split rim tires.
A military soft top is included; window has yellowed as it normally does.
All cushions and seat covers are new with cotton canvas in olive drab green.

Buyer responsible for pick-up and transportation, but I will be available to assist and can drive it down to a dealership if needed. A down payment of $300 via paypal is required at time of winning the bid and is not refundable (unless problem is caused by me). A money transfer or cleared certified check will be accepted for the remainder of the payment before title is signed over and transportation occurs. Mileage is not known. No returns. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
