I have a 1963 Willy’s PickUp truck . The engine is quiet and runs great like a singer sewing machine. It has its original 4x4 transmission. Pressure Plate is stuck but it’s an easy fix. (the parts can be found at your local Advanced Auto Parts store only). Stake pockets are currently being repaired. I am also replacing door handles so the doors open easier (old handles stick), and replacing door panels and recovering in a black leather naugahyde material as it would have originally been done. Points, plugs etc have been cleaned up.
Passenger floor has small hole but would only take about an hour to fix.. Drivers side has a North Carolina license plate for a patch but the floor is solid otherwise. Previous owner stated they owned it for 20 yrs and it had been previously used as a fire truck in the Fayetteville, NC area. Both rockers are solid. Cab corners also solid. Cab mount supports are also solid. Pick-up bed is restorable. Tune up has been done recently. All five tires have great tread and do not need replacing.
For a truck over 50 years old, and becoming harder to find in this condition at this price, makes it a good deal. This truck is in very restorable condition. Pics speak for themselves .
