1940 Willys 2dr sedan made from a 4dr just as the factory did it (rear doors welded shut). All body repairs have been done w/ a new firewall (for a BBC or Hemi) installed, new front floor, and rear floor all the way to the tailpan, All new parts from Direct sheet metal. Installed on a new Just A Hobby frame (rails) w/ a mustang II front cross member with tubular upper and lower control arms. With 2 dropped spindles and Ford 11 disc brakes. Rear is a '59 Ford 9 with drum brakes and triangular 4 bar. No coilover shocks, and all suspension components are tacked in. No motor or trans mounts installed in frame.
Front and rear fenders, grill center section are fiberglass, with original steel running boards. Perfect doors (swinging and latched) and very nice trunk lid (w/ inside later hinges) not installed.Also have many new reproduction parts. New grill, door and trunk handles, tailites, license lite, plate brkt., hood ornament and hood spear, all new body trim w/ hood whiskers. New reproduction bumper brackets and rear bumper w/ grommets, Only one headlite. I don't have a hood, inner front fenders, or dash, which are available in reproduction in steel or fiberglass.
Car is a rolling project w/ old wheels and tires installed for easy loading. Wheels and tires in photos are not included (for another project) but can also purchase new ones if you like them.
I have a 1940 Willys 2dr sedan Washington state title in my name and a 1940 Washington license plate.Title matches the body mount vin tag number and should be easily transferable.Questions call 5zero98three043fourtwo. I do not need help selling !!!
