Up for auction is a very nice, 1956 Mercury Montclair two door convertible.
Mexican clean title and invoice (factura). All docs up to date and in order.
All badges, mouldings and dashboard elements complete and 100% original.
Great condition, the engine and transmision run smoothly, the tyres are almost new, the paint is in good condition, the flexible electric top opens and closes perfectly, but the fabric of the top needs to be replaced (which can be done by us after bidding ends at no extra cost).
The drivetrain is 312 cu.in. engine, automatic transmission. It also has factory power steering.
Most gauges are in working order, only speedometer doesn't work. Radio and clock need fixing.
A very valuable find that can be left in expo conditions with very minor investment.
The vehicle is in Puebla, México, 2 hours drive from Mexico City International Airport. If you win the bidding, we can pick you up at Mexico City airport. There are also direct flights to Puebla International Airport from some US cities.
The buyer is responsible for all pick up/transportation costs and all export/import taxes and fees. We can recommend a carrier and customs agency.
Upon winning the auction, a full payment must be received within 3 working days via Wire transfer. The transfer must have passed and the money be in our account before the car is taken away. Payment in cash is possible, in Mexican pesos only (to the equivalent exchange rate on yahoo finance of the day of the sale).
