UP for bid is my 1962 Studebaker pro street. I have not raced the car in years. I only attend car shows and occasionally drive around the neighborhood. The car is chopped 3 1/2 inches. It sits on a 2x3 full frame. It has a Ford 9 rear with nodular center section and Richmond 4:56 gears. It has a Moser spool and axels. The front end has Strange struts and disc brakes, drums in the rear. The floor, trunk , door panels and wheel tubs are aluminum. The firewall is steel. It has a flaming river rack and pinion as well as a tilt column. The car is all steel except for the hood scoop. It has a powerglide with a trans brake, a bolt together 5500 stall converter, 100 shot of nitrous and line lock. The engine is a 427 bbc (60 over) displacing 440 cu in. It has a Chet Herbert mechanical roller cam and the compression ratio is 12 1/2 to 1. The car has way more but you get the picture. It is finished in Audi garnet red and looks very nice. NO rust. The car goes straight and drives nice. It has working headlights, horn, license plate light, etc. I just recently updated the fuel system and rebuilt the carb (950 Holly). Also considering letting go of my tow vehicle- 1996 Chev Silverado 3500 turbo diesel dually. It has 107000 miles on it and it is exceptionally clean. I am stupid anal about maintaining my vehicles. The truck runs great. It has 4 exhaust, a deep trans pan and a air filter kit. That's it. The truck is loaded and everything works. It does have a small worn area on the drivers seat which I keep covered. Lastly, I also have a single car trailer (I think its a 2008) which I bought new. It has new radial tires on it which gives it a much better ride than the bias ply crap that it originally came with. There you have it. I am looking for offers and I would also consider any type of trades. Lastly, the car was appraised in 2008 for $35000, so I wont trade for a clapped out S10, etc. Feel free to email if you need any more info or have any questions. Thanks for looking!
