Selling my 65 AMC Rambler Marlin. Factory power steering, power brakes, A/C, center console bucket seats, 287 v8, automatic trans. I've had the car 3 years now. Since I've owned it I put on new shocks, new starter, Holley electric fuel pump, and flushed the tank. I did rebuild the carb before winter but it was gummed up after sitting over winter and I flushed it back out. Runs pretty good but not like a fresh new carb before winter. The car has a B&m shifter in it now but I do have the original center console, shifter, floor bezel, linkage, and armrest. Car had almost new full single exhaust when I bought it. I have receipts from 2003 saying the engine was overhauled and bored .030 as well as the trans overhauled. Car has rust in the drivers 1/4 around the wheel well and pinholing behind the wheel. Passenger 1/4 is almost spotless. Drivers floor pan has rust and a piece of sheet metal riveted over it (picture from under car). Passenger door sags and the window regular is stripped and won't roll down. Passenger fender is dented bad and has old bondo cracking out by headlight. Interior in this car is pretty nice. Needs carpet and headliner, door panels are usable but trim is coming loose. Drivers seat has a hole on the side from a spring. Has an aftermarket radio installed but not hooked up ( have original radio but dash is cut to fit this radio). Has aftermarket mirrors on the doors. The vacuum wipers do not work. The biggest problem I've had is the car is missing the A/C and heater box off the firewall under the hood so there is NO heater, Makes driving after October difficult. This was a daily driven car for me till about a year ago when I got tied up in other projects, but I do still drive it around town occasionally. This car does have some rust, the interior is not perfect, it has dents and dings, the tires are old, it needs a little love to be 100% reliable in my opinion.
I will not ship the car, I recommend you trailer it home. If you get here to pick it up and think your going to complain about everything wrong with the car and back out or knock me down on price I will not refund your money. This car is being sold AS IS.
I do have this car listed locally for sale and will end the auction if does so.
