Seller's Notes This vehicle is also for sale locally, so I may end the auction early. Vehicle Details For Sale: 1966 AMC Rambler Ambassador 880 Cross Country. This awesome classic has been my daily driver for the last 5 years. The 232 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine with automatic transmission have served me well. It features manual steering and drum brakes! There's a working AM/FM radio and a heater. With the 2' receiver hitch I towed a '66 Serro Scotty from Ventura, CA to Portland, OR., no problem. This car makes people smile everywhere it goes!
History:
Previous owner had the engine and transmission rebuilt and renewed the carpet, seat covers and headliner
I had the trailer hitch installed and replaced the valve cover gasket, fuel pump, alternator and radiator.
Thankfully, I've had zero difficulty acquiring the parts and help needed to keep 'Shakey' on the road. It has been a wonderful experience being custodian of this piece of automobile history.
