Phenomenal and Professionally restored 1972 VW Bus Transporter. A person would be very hard pressed to find a better quality VW Bus that needs absolutely nothing and is built for the long haul. 93, 000 original miles complete with owners manual that has enclosed maintenance records from the VW dealership all the way back to 1972. This bus spent its life in Florida where the restoration took place. It was then shipped to NY sometime after 2013. It has never seen snow or salt. The bus is amazing quality and I would rate the exterior a 9.9 out of 10 as I did find a couple very very minor paint chips that are not noticeable. The interior is basically flawless and amazing condition. Also a 9.9 out of 10. The seat upholstery is also amazing with 0 flaws. The carpeting has no wear and is in excellent new condition. The dash is perfect and everything works as it should. The electrical system is in great working order with no issues EVEN THE DOOR BUZZER works. The horn also works great. The bus has been equipped with an excellent Rockford Fosgate stereo system consisting of four 6” speakers and a subwoofer, located nicely under the middle seat. The CD player is also Bluetooth equipped. The door panels are excellent and match the upholstery. Bus is equipped with a very nice step to to enter the bus as well as roof mounted marker lights. The bus runs, shifts and drives flawlessly and without any issue. The motor was rebuilt at some point and is now equipped with electronic ignition and a fan cooled oil cooler!! The clutch, transmission, and engine are all in great working order. It runs down the road beautifully and cruises nicely at 65+. The brakes work perfectly and it is equipped with brand new load specific Continental tires. The battery tray was removed due to a few small holes and a new one was professionally installed. This bus is the real deal and can be driven anywhere. Even the heating system works properly and all the duct work is in good shape. The windows are in great shape and were professionally tinted. Everything works as it should. This is an absolute buy with confidence vehicle and the nicest transporter I have ever seen. The bus needs nothing and is ready for a new owner and a road trip. I have countless photos of this and can take more if needed. Please ask as many questions as you like but read the post in its entirety please as I have tried to describe the bus the best I can. Upon full payment from the buyer I will be more than happy to continue to store the bus in my heated garage until it can be picked up.
