I acquired this mgb about one year ago. I am the third owner since new and this has always been a garaged California car and is rust free everywhere! I am a mechanic and have rebuilt the front calipers, wheels bearings, and has new rotors up front, drive line has been gone through with new universals and differential oil, new gaiters on steering tie rods, new clutch slave cylinder, new fuel tank and fuel pump, relays installed in the main electrical system, transmission operates perfect and engine runs very well. The car has the original spare tire and the 4 speed plus electric overdrive, is California smog compliant and passed smog easily as I have restored the car to its original condition. The interior is an 8 to 9 out of 10 with just typical wear but no cracks or tears. The engine has 70 to 75psi oil pressure at start up, engine is very tight with just a very small drop of oil on floor. The paint on the car is original with only one dent in the hood( see picture) which is the only dent in the entire car, it seems someone may have closed the hood on top of something protruding from the engine compartment. This dent is small approx size of a dime. Convertible top like new no rips or tears new tonneau cover included . Tires are at about 90% new as I have only driven the car about 500 miles since I bought it, selling because of health and financial issues.
