This beauty is the last year of the big Lincolns. V8 engine starts right up and runs. This car has been well preserved and always garaged in a commercial building. It hasn't been run much recently so could use a tune up. Factory installed CB, heated drivers mirror and thermostat. 61k miles, looks to be original by the paperwork I have. Texas car. Always garaged, non smoker car. Located in Harper, Tx.

Sale is only due to owner's health. He is a retired Air Force Veteran who had a serious injury and has Alzheimers and can no longer enjoy his collection. Sadly, he is presently in a nursing home. Proceeds to pay for his expenses, so we appreciate your business. If I could, I would keep it for myself as I grew up riding in one of these cars when I was young, our family car, and the ride is unlike anything I've owned since.

The paint on this car is in very good condition. It looks beautiful in person with just my unprofessional clean up. Chrome is also very nice. I did my best to prepare this car for sale in my limited time, and it looks really nice without being fluffed and buffed and without doctored photos. What you see is an honest representation of what this car is. I have sold several of his other cars and the buyers are always happy with them. My father has a reputation for taking very good care of his vehicles and restoring autos to original condition.
Body is straight and rust free. Headlight doors work as they should. Antenna, power windows, power doors, radio and CB all operate. Air Conditioning operates, but doesn't get cool, so needs to be serviced. Vinyl top has some minor separation on the drivers side that needs to be resewed. (See pics.) The only other issue I noticed is the piece of trim on driver side windows between the two pieces of glass needs to be replace. (See pic). Frame and floor is sold and rust free.

Interior is in excellent condition, no rips or tears in upholstery or carpet. There is some paint coming off the passenger side plastic piece behind and above the shoulder, and needs to be replaced or repainted. (See pics). You can see the very minor issues I've mentioned in the photos, but I want to be clear and would prefer to give too much information to too little. This car really is a solid, beautiful example of the last of America's great luxury cars.

We do guarantee the availability and possession of a title with no liens or encumbrances at time of sale, and that title is a clean and clear 1979 Texas title with no brands. We will help you arrange shipping any way we can, and will help facilitate a truck picking it up etc., but purchaser pays for all shipping charges.
