The good: I am the original owner of this 5-speed manual 2010 Scion XB. It is paid off and I have the clean title. This car has never left me stranded. It has a 2.4L Toyota engine, which I have been told is the same engine used in the Camry. Michelin tires were installed at around 35K miles and again at 112K miles at town fair tire. Battery was replaced 1/28/15. The brakes have been replaced both pads and rotors. The o2 sensors have been replaced (there are two). The serpentine belt has been replaced. I have all of the receipts and maintenance records. I have the original window sticker and original brochure from 2010. All will be included. There is an aftermarket Kenwood stereo installed using a harness- no wires were cut. I have the original radio and that will be included. I have a cabin air filter that will be included. I have a spare serpentine belt- that will be included. I have an almost full can of aerosol paint which will be included.
The not so good: At around 35K miles I was driving to work after snow storm Alfred. No power the stoplights were out and the other driver didn’t stop. The car was hit in the front end. It was repaired at Middletown Toyota. I had no handling or tire wear problems. I have driven it almost 100K miles since. The first set of tires I put on the vehicle were replaced after 77K miles and it did not need tires. I wanted more tread for winter driving. There are various dents, dings and scratches, squeaks consistent with 133K miles and 7 years of driving. I have noticed a fuel smell when driving- only after a stoplight and then it goes away. I think this car lives up to the Toyota and Scion reliability claims. If there are any questions, please ask. Thank you for bidding.
