1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Coupe AR 1493.21711 ( Euro) , Alfa Romeo Automobilismo Storico reports this car was originally manufactured on 21st January 1960 and Sold on 2nd May 1960 in Naples , Italy. The engine series should be AR 00102 ( or AR 1315) and the original Colour was Iseo Light Blue. The car currently is fitted with a latter 1600cc Giulia series AR 00536 and a split case 5 speed transmission, the original engine and transmission is not available.
This is a very solid car and could with some work make a nice Driver, a Vintage Race car , or Restored to show quality.
Currently Runs and drives, the 1600cc twin cam features restored Dual Weber 40 DCOE 27's # 3634 - # 2615 Carbs, The transmission works but the brakes will require some work before the car could be driven, the brake wheel ends are good but the master cylinder and connections need attention. Tires are new this year and includes a spare correct rim with a good tire. Some missing such as trim center hood trim, and the driver side marker light, passenger side marker light trim is included, the various script badge are also missing. The steering wheel and horn button are in excellent condition and the gauges are very good. Interior was restored in the past and will need to be renewed, there is no radio or ash tray. The pictures are a good representation of what is included
