This car was owned by the previous owner for 31 years and apparently he knew the previous owner to that. He did a restoration in the 80's and that is when the engine tag was removed. He guaranteed me that the drivetrain was original. He removed the heater system then as well. He had the engine rebuilt in 2014 and I purchased her in early 2015. I have added new front disc brakes, new steering wheel, spin on filter, and full stainless exhaust. Tires and 72 spoke rims new in last 4-5 years. I have kept most pieces that I removed.
The engine runs fantastic. Great oil pressure and temps. Tranny and OD work great also. Brakes are all rebuilt and the car tracks straight.
The mileage I believe inaccurate as the previous owner travelled the eastern US and Canada and he believes he put 100, 000 km on her.
The paint is due. She looks great from 10 ft and always gets lots of attention and compliments. But there are poorly touched up stone chips and the odd mark. A couple small spots of the paint cracking. And a old fading stain from what I assume was a splash of brake fluid probably during a top up in the past. Also a couple small minor dings. All normal for its age and use.
It has a good top, tonneau and a badge bar with extra lights which I have removed.
This car can still be enjoyed many years before you would need to do a paint job or a fresh restoration.
